Most
of time such a situation arise that we have forgotten our mobile number and unable
to recharge, also due to insufficient balance we are unable
to call some another mobile too.
To overcome this kind of
inconvenience all Service providers in India including Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, Tata Docomo,
Idea, Reliance GSM (smart) and Vodafone have provide options for
their customers to verify their own mobile number by dialing toll free
USSD/Number without calling the customer
care numbers.
You can now know your mobile number by dialing toll free USSD/Number of your operator as given below :-
For Airtel dial *140*6575# and press Call Button, Then you will get a message as “Request in Progress”, please wait and instead of
showing your mobile number directly, you will receive a call from your number itself. If you answer
the call the call will end.
For Aircel, Tata Docomo and Reliance
GSM(smart) dial *1# and press Call Button to know your mobile number.
For
BSNL Customers: 164 and Press Call Button and listen IVRS . (It is observed that in some regions this command doesn’t work).This command is working fine in Eastern region of our country.
For Idea users dial *1# and press Call Button, and you know their mobile number and date of activation of the SIM card.
For Vodafone dial *555# and press Call Button.
